Peanut Butter and Chocolate Banana Coins

Easy Freezy!

Here's another Pinterest find that I modified a bit. These Peanut Butter and Chocolate Banana Coins are SO good, and they only took 15 minutes to prepare before it was time to put them in the freezer.

You'll need:

2 bananas
peanut butter
1 cup of chocolate chips or chunks (any kind, I used semi-sweet)
4 tablespoons of milk
Tray covered with wax paper

Take one of the bananas and cut it up into chunks. Cover the top of each piece with a dab of peanut butter.

Mix 1/2 cup of chips with 2 tablespoons of milk in a microwave bowl.

Microwave on low power for 1 minute. Mix the chips and milk and return to microwave for 30 more seconds.

Mix again until the mixture's achieved the consistency of chocolate fondue. If it starts cooling off and hardening, pop back in the microwave for 15 seconds on low power.

Now, put a banana coin in the bowl, and spoon the chocolate mix over the coin until it's covered. Gently take out the banana coin with a fork, making sure the excess chocolate drips back into the bowl.

Place the chocolate coins onto the tray on top of the wax paper. Repeat with the other banana. Cover the chocolate coins with sprinkles and place the tray in the freezer. Remove after three hours.

Enjoy!
