The holiday season is here and with it comes parties to celebrate the season as well as your holiday style. Here are some quick and easy tips to add pizazz to your hair during the holiday season and throughout the New Year.
First of all, dry, cold air coupled with dry, indoor heating can take a toll on your hair during the cold weather months. Prevent the damaging effects of the arctic blast by shampooing less, using extra conditioning, and considering a Keratin treatment. Plus, drink more – water, that is! Rehydrate your hair from the inside out by drinking at least eight glasses of water a day.
Updos are elegant and can be worn with any outfit. If you’re hosting a party, this classic style is practical for keeping the hair out of your face when cooking and serving. Add a chunky headband or jeweled barrette for some flair in your hair. Pin your favorite brooch onto a pony tail holder and wrap it around a loose bun. Attach the brooch to a barrette and clip the barrette on the side of a French twist or bun. To keep a side-part tame or frizzy hair under control, a headband can be the perfect solution. Dress up a traditional straight style with microbraids and festive little barrettes or hair accessories. Weave miniature flowers or tiny ribbons into a French braid.
